ED and ROSE JACKSON


25. Edward "Ed" Henderson JACKSON3(Robert2Joseph1) was born in 9 Oct 1877[1,2,3,4] in probably Grayson County, Texas, USA. He died 1948[5] in Lufkin and is buried in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas, USA (maybe at the Oaklawn or Glendale Cemetery[5]. Ed married Rose HOLCOMB[5] who was born[5] 07 Nov 1881 in Moscow, Polk County, Texas, USA and died 16 Jin 1964. She is buried next to her husband[5] .

Edward had brown eyes, black hair, tall, medium build.[6]

Children[1] of Ed and Rose Jackson were:
i.  Edward Leslie JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1) was born 16 Sep 1901[7] and died 26 Nov 1918[7].
ii.  Robert Alfred "Boots" JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1)  was born 18 May 1903[7] and died 07 Jan 1977[7]. He is buried in the Union Springs Cemetery[8], Polk County, Texas, USA. Boots Jackson married 22 Mar 1930[9] in Eagle Pass, Texas, USA to Madress OSBORN and had three children.
iii.  Maureen JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1)  was born 01 Dec 1905[9] and died 25 Nov 1918.
iv.  Helen Frances JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1) was born 13 Aug 1907[9] and died 11 Dec 1970. She married 22 Mar 1934[9] to Samuel Patrick HARTMAN[9] who was born 09 Feb 1911[9] and had three children.
v.  Ruth Mozelle JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1) was born 16 Nov 1910 and died 02 May 1985[9]. She never married[9].
vi.  Holcomb JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1) was born 16 Dec 1912[9] and died 30 Dec 1912[9].
vii.  Kirtley JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1) was born 16 Dec 1912[9] and died 30 Dec 1912[9].
viii.  Harmon Lewis JACKSON4(Edward3Robert2Joseph1) was born 15 Jun 1919[9] and died Jul 1986[9]. He had several wives, two of whom were Velma UNKNOWN and Penny UNKNOWN.

Edward was a mill right and worked in Diboll for Southern Pine Lumber Company[5]. Edward later worked as a cabinet maker and woodworker[9].
. Boots Jackson worked for the Southern Pacific. He later (1937) went to work for the TSE (Texas South Eastern) owned by then Southern Pine lumber Company, later Temple Industries.[9].
. Kirtley Jackson died from an injury when he pulled a water cooler over on top of himself[9].
. Maureen Jackson died during the flu epidemic[9]
Edward Laurie Jackson died during the flu epidemic[9].
. There were also two stillborn children[9].

These Jackson children were found in the Union Springs Cemetery and named as children of E.H. & Rose Jackson:
