[14a] in Polk County, Texas[14]. He died 15 Apr 1960[14,15] in Galveston County, Texas and is buried in the
Union Springs
Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery[16], Polk County, Texas[15].
He had light blue eyes, dark brown hair, and was tall with a small build.[14a]He married Minnie DEVEREAUX. She was born 08 Dec 1879[16,17] in Texas. She died 13 Nov 1950[17,18] in Texas
of heart failure and is buried in the Union Springs Church Cemetery next to her husband. Minnie was the daughter of
John C. Devereaux[16]
and Louisa
Tarver.

Buster Jackson attended two years of Stephen F. Austin Teachers College in Nacogdoches, Texas before becoming a pitcher in the baseball minor leagues.
"Buster" died of heart failure.
Gertrude was the daughter of Jeremiah Greenwood Carrington and Clara Lenora Hightower.
Gertrude died of colon cancer.
