William HENDERSON ( George 2nd of Fordell, James 1st of Fordell, Robert, John, Thomas)  was born about 1522 in Fifeshire, Scotland and died 10 Sep 1547 in Battle at Pinkie.  He married about 1544 to Elizabeth SCOTT, the daughter of Alexander SCOTT and Marion SCOTT (companion of Queen Mary). His father was George HENDERSON and Catherine ADAMSON.
